Stacks aims to make young people financially literate, independent and able to achieve their personal and professional goals through leadership, entrepreneurship, and money management training.
Stacks is a social equity fund and education provider that invests in young people and their ideas.
WE DEVELOP young ENTREPRENEURS
Stacks was created by a young person in 2020 to combat the rising poverty and loss of jobs that occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Our social investment fund invests in and incubates young people so that they create enterprises with social outputs.
We provide financial literacy training to young people and develop their understanding of personal finance – leading to better money management.
Our products and services are targeted at young people from marginalised and minority communities who want to establish their own businesses and contribute to their communities.
Stacks operates four strands of business to create leaders and entrepreneurs.
#1 Stacks Education
Stacks Education provides young people with courses and workshops on leadership, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy – enabling young people to gain the knowledge and skills to be leaders and entrepreneurs who create value in their communities.
Do The Maths
Do The Maths is an 8-week financial literacy programme that aims to develop young people’s understanding of financial literacy, money management, and problem-solving. DOWNLOAD NOW

Stacks On Stacks is a 4-week entrepreneurship programme that aims to develop young people’s entrepreneurship capacity.

RiseUP
RiseUP is an 8-week leadership programme developed to teach young people the principles of leadership through social action.

#2 Stacks Incubator
Stacks Incubator provides support and guidance to young people who want to launch their own business or are running a business and want to grow.
We use a strategic approach to develop young people’s competencies to run a successful enterprise.
The incubation process includes workshops, seminars and coaching – enabling the young person to build the confidence to enter and navigate the marketplace – delivering a quality product or service to their target consumer.
#3 Stacks Invests
Stacks Invests provides funding to young people who complete the Stacks Incubator programme.
We primarily invest in ethnic minority young people who require funding to launch a business.
#4 Stacks Investment Club (SIC)
The Stacks Investment Club (SIC) is a community that raises money to invest in young people.
SIC provides young people with funding to establish their business in their community through local people investing in their talent, skills, and idea.
The club gives local people partial ownership in the companies they invest in – enabling them to grow with the young people they believe in.
We aim to invest in young people who create value for their communities.
WE WANT TO
- Increase young people’s knowledge and economic wellbeing through financial literacy training.
- Increase young people’s (employability) skills through leadership and entrepreneurship training.
- Contribute to local economic growth through financial and other investments in young people’s ideas.
- Engage in early intervention to create an entrepreneurial mindset to develop and grow businesses.
OUR ACHIEVEMENTS:
- Engaged with over 200 young people across Brent in schools and community centres.
- 100% of students able to define money and cash.
- 100% of students able to create a basic budget.
- 100% of students aware of the importance of social action.
- 98.5% engaged in all sessions.
- 86% of students leave the programme with at least one financial goal.
